The Hinge of Reformation: The Controversy of the Gospel examines the unfolding of the gospel of the Kingdom as revealed through both Old and New Testament lenses. These notes outline how the “whole counsel of God” extends beyond personal salvation to include the restoration of Israel, the reign of Christ from Zion, and the fulfillment of all prophecy.
Using Psalm 2 as a structural guide, the teaching unfolds four key movements: the rebellion of nations against the Lord and His Anointed, the throne-room perspective of divine sovereignty, the declaration of God’s reign from Zion, and the call to wisdom in light of coming events.
The document situates the Great Commission within its eschatological context—linking global missions to the controversy surrounding Jerusalem—and emphasizes that true reformation requires alignment with the complete message of the Kingdom.
