In Judgment Begins in the House of the Lord, David Sliker outlines how the restoration of all things begins not in the world but within the Church itself. Drawing from Peter’s sermons in Acts 2 and 3, the teaching unpacks how repentance, renewal, and the outpouring of the Holy Spirit signaled the start of a divine timeline leading toward full restoration under Jesus’ reign.

The study follows three prophetic dimensions of restoration: the shalom of God, where divine order is reestablished; tikkun olam, the repair of the world through partnership with the Messiah; and the Sabbath rest of God, the millennial reign of peace and justice.

Sliker reframes judgment as a redemptive act—God’s way of refining His people rather than condemning them. Through fiery trials and suffering, the Church is purified and transformed into a mature Bride, ready to reveal His beauty and righteousness to the nations.

Ultimately, the restoration of all things begins with a restored Church—one that reflects God’s holiness, embraces His judgments, and embodies His glory in a darkening world.
