Exalting Jesus Day and Night with Prayer and Worship

Sunday Morning Service

Oct 26, 2025    David Sliker

This teaching explores the prophetic understanding of restoration—beginning in the Church and culminating in the reign of Jesus over the earth. David Sliker traces Peter’s message from Acts 2 and 3 to show how repentance and the outpouring of the Holy Spirit initiated the unfolding of God’s redemptive plan, leading toward the “times of restoration of all things.”

The notes examine the three dimensions of restoration found in Scripture—the peace of God (shalom), the repair of the world (tikkun olam), and the Sabbath rest of God—as well as how judgment in the Church refines and beautifies the Bride of Christ. Sliker emphasizes that divine judgment is not punishment but purification—a redemptive process through which God matures His people and prepares them for the age to come.

The work concludes with Peter’s call to holiness and perseverance, revealing how God’s judgments are expressions of mercy that teach righteousness and prepare the Church to reflect His glory.
